Capital Car Wash - North Larch

Touchless is not working properly. $12.00. You get soaped. Then you watch the machine do a couple laps around your vehicle. Then a blow dry. No hot cherry or hot lemon whatever. No blasting water. Soap and a dry for 12.00!

I've used the touchless automatic before and it was great. It was down today when I went. But, having managed a similar car wash in the past, I know this happens. Hope they get it up and running soon. This is my favorite place to wash salt off my truck.

This is the worst thing that could have happened. I went to the car wash here, spent 15 dollars for my brand new truck, and expected to get a regular car wash experience. Instead, the spinner on the machine dug into the bumper of my truck as well as the tailgate and scratched the paint. I am so sad and disappointed that any car wash could do this. I feel like this is going to cost way more than the 15 dollars I spent to get the truck washed in the first place.

I needed a self-serve car wash while visiting family in the area recently and this location was located only a couple of miles from where we were staying. Overall, the self-serve wash bay did a surprisingly good job of washing off the dirt without me having to use a wash mit. The sign that mentioned something about paying $20 for a car wash was a bit confusing at first, but then I reasoned that you can get a wash for just a few dollars. Other than that, the wash process went well. The cost was probably in line with other similar car self-serve car washes. I'm not a fan of using a credit card at a location like this, so I appreciated that the wash bay will accept tokens (or credit cards).

Over all it's a pretty nice car wash and the rate seems pretty reasonable compared to others around town. My only complaint is the foam brush was not working in the bay I used and I definitely wasted a dollar or so worth of time trying to get it to go. There was no marking indicating this or anything.
